M3U IPTV Player
The IPTV Player allows you to watch live TV channels from M3U playlists or individual stream URLs. It provides a comprehensive interface for managing and playing your IPTV channels.

How to Use
Loading Channels
From M3U URL:
- Enter an M3U playlist URL in the "Load M3U Playlist" section
- Click "Load M3U" to fetch and parse the playlist
- Channels will be added to your list, avoiding duplicates
From M3U File:
- Click the upload button next to "Load M3U"
- Select an M3U or M3U8 file from your device
- Channels will be parsed and added to your list
Adding Channels Manually:
- Enter the channel name in the "Channel Name" field
- Enter the stream URL in the "Stream URL" field
- Click "Add Channel" to add it to your list
Managing Channels
Playing a Channel:
- Click on any channel in the list to start playback
- The video will appear in the player area
- Use the player controls to adjust volume, toggle fullscreen, etc.
Favoriting Channels:
- Click the heart icon next to a channel to mark it as a favorite
- Favorite channels will appear at the top of the list
- Click the heart icon again to remove from favorites
Searching Channels:
- Use the search box to filter channels by name
- The list will update in real-time as you type
- Search is case-insensitive and matches partial text
Removing Channels:
- Click the X icon next to a channel to remove it
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears
Backup and Restore
Exporting Channels:
- Click the "Export" button in the "Manage Channels" section
- Your channel list will be downloaded as a JSON file
- Store this file safely for backup purposes
Importing Channels:
- Click the "Import" button in the "Manage Channels" section
- Select a previously exported JSON file
- Channels will be added to your list, avoiding duplicates
Technical Notes
- Your channel list is automatically saved in your browser's local storage
- HTTP URLs are automatically proxied to avoid CORS issues
- The player uses HLS.js for M3U8 stream playback
- Supported stream formats include M3U8/HLS, DASH, and MP4
Pro Tips
- For better organization, use the same group titles for related channels
- Add logo URLs to make your channel list more visually appealing
- Export your channel list regularly as a backup
- If a stream doesn't play, try adding it as an M3U8 stream instead of IPTV
